We took a quick trip to hot springs ark. for a couple of days. They have a neat little amusement and water park for the kids (and John) and it's only 3 hours away! We had a good time. This has always been a weekend away place for John and I and this was the first time we took the kids. Definately not as relaxing, but still fun!
I haven't been doing a good job of updating my blog very often but I'm going to try to do better! Here are a few more pics of my kiddos. Playing ouside and laying in "bubbas" bed watching movies are some of their favorite things to do. I love when they cuddle up in the bed together. I think it's the cutest thing! They are so crazy about each other, I hope they always will be!
For those of you who don't know, my brother and sister in-law have 3 boys ages 9, 7, and 5. All school age mind you, and well had not planned on anymore! In fact they had already had that taken care of if you know what I mean! When they found out she was pregnant it was quite a suprise, and they didn't find out what they were having so... this little girl was even more of a suprise! But mostly just a big blessing, we are very excited to have a girl cousin for Kate since Eli already has the boys and loves to play with them. I plan on Kate and Molly Grace being big buddies too!
The smell of college football is in the air! I love this time of year as Zach, Logan, and I are cheering for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Why the Bulldogs, you say? Well, basically because my alma mater, Union University had no football team and because Zach graduated from State. So, from one bulldog school to the next, I went. We're on a good streak with a record of 3-1 with an SEC win against Auburn--wow! However, I think next week's South Carolina game is already a given loss, but we'll see. Zach says not to toot my horn too loud and that all of this will probably change in a month or two....but for now, GO BULLDOGS!
Here are some more pics of us enjoying our summer. I can't believe it's almost over. We are trying to do lots of fun things before Eli goes back to school. These are some of us swimming, which we've done a lot thanks to Kathy and Jenny and some at the sprinkler park and as always just some around the house!
